The Lodge Family

We have finally decided to join the world of blogging! I got rid of my facebook account and family and friends have been asking what is going on with Luke so I decided to blog to keep you all updated:) I will start at the beginning of our summer. We took a trip to Houston to see my cousin Shannon graduate from High School. The last baby cousin is headed to college...Makes me feel really old. She was so busy this weekend that we didn't get any pictures with her, but we got a few pictures of the fun things that Luke got to do while we were there!! He got to spend quite a bit of time with his cousin Hadley (shes actually his 2nd cousin, but whos counting!) We had lots of good time in the pool swimming with the kiddos, then Luke got to go meet Uncle Pauls horses which he was really excited about and then we took him skating at Uncle Pauls rink. Luke had already been skating at his Pops rink once, but this was his 2nd time to skate and he was pretty good. Must have those Hedrick skating genes!! Watch out Chad Hedrick because Luke Lodge is going to break all of your records!!! This was a great weekend with family that I love so much, but don't get to see often. We all had a nice time and Daddy (web) was even able to get some work done while we were down there. A good time was had by all!
